My First Front Page Cover

My first front page cover happened when I was 5 years old for my elementary school newsletter, but at least I had a front page cover!

Now my goal is to be on the front page of Azure, Style at Home, House and Home, Dwell, Design lines or Canadian Interiors. I’ll make it some how!

I have a team of people who believe in me. I just need to keep pushing harder!

Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do

Barbie Shanghai Store By Slade Architecture

This store is every girls dream come true! I wish they had one in Toronto.

If Barbie wants to open up a store here, I would love to be a part of it.

I actually came across this project when I was researching my Barbie Office project.

I fell in love with it.

illustrious Chair

I had a school projects where I had to only use cardboard and glue to create a chair.

My inspiration was an organic net, basically a net that hold your fruits such as oranges.

I love that when you pull the net it changes shape, which inspired me for the cut outs.

It took me about 40 hours to construct, because I hand cut each piece.

It was a painful process but it was worth it. I love the chair, I am going to make a full size chair when I have more time. I hope you all like it. xoxo Diana

 Concept Statement:

This chair is an organic and light structure that has various scales and repetition.

It will have an elasticity and flex that can capture you like a net.

It was light enough for Ethan to hold.
